Guest Interviews
Parenting For Humanity, a collaboration between Lisa Stroyan and Amy Makice, offers a free weekly internet radio show and podcast on a variety of parenting topics. Each week we discuss some aspect of empathic, respectful, non-punitive parenting, or a topic that our listener base may find of interest in their parenting.
We are always looking for interesting show guests that have valuable information or perspectives to share with our listeners. Guest interviews are an opportunity to connect with and help hundreds of parents around the world while exposing them to the concepts and information in the guest’s book, website, or services.
We offer a unique opportunity to guests, because no travel is required and the time commitment is minimal. Guests call in through a regular phone line, as do callers with questions. We work with guests in advance about what is to be covered in the interview. The show is then broadcast live or from archive over the internet, and available as a free podcast through iTunes.
BlogTalkRadio, the technology underlying our show, is an internet radio broadcasting service that provides the broadcast, phone lines for calling in, the recording archives, etc. We and our guests call in on our phone lines, and when the show starts, our broadcast will also start playing on the BlogTalkRadio webpage as well as being saved in the archives. We can then take callers live, and a chat room is also provided. Listeners may also submit questions via blog, twitter, voicemail, or FaceBook.
