Pay It Forward
Lisa wanted to do something meaningful and a little outrageous in honor of her 40th birthday. She had already tried skinny-dipping, and bungie-jumping wasn’t her style. So instead, we decided to offer coaching and consultations free for the whole month of July. But - there is a catch.
We want you to get on the bandwagon with us. In exchange for our services, we are asking that each of you “pay it forward” to someone else, in the form of support. Pick someone you wouldn’t normally support, preferably a parent or a family, and do something that’s going to make a difference for them. Here are some ideas:
- Help tornado or storm victims
- Make a few freezer meals for a family with a new baby.
- Volunteer at your local women’s shelter.
- Call local women’s shelters, homeless shelters, and ask what they need to help families. Organize a group in your community to provide some of the items.
- Offer a portion of your own services free and ask customers to pay-it-forward.
Our coaching services have three components that make them unique. They are nonjudgmental; clients feel supported and empowered. We are connection-based; building relationships and helping you build them effectively too is a passion of ours. Lastly we are forward action oriented; rather than analyzing the past we help you move forward toward your goals.
With pay-it-forward month, we want to spread these qualities out into the world. We feel our own humanity depends on it. Please join us!

Please post anything you want to share about how you have chosen to Pay It Forward on this page.
Naomi:
Happy Birthday, Lisa! What a wonderful idea! I have benefitted from the wisdom of so many amazing mamas; I will keep the idea of paying it forward in mind as I go.
Best birthday wishes.

Jule Zehrung:
Lisa, thanks for your Playful Parenting Workshop. I was encouraged and inspired by the discussion and took away some tools for my “belt”.
The children and I had opportunity to help tornado victims by volunteering at the Donation Center in Windsor. Helping physically locally had more of an impact than financially supporting a needy cause.
Recently some friends bought their first home, a fixer-upper. We found many opportunities to help and also provide meals as they renovated.
We’re such believers in pay-it-forward. We’ve been so blessed with meals after the birth of our children. We always take opportunity to bless someone else in this same way when newborns arrive.
Thanks again for the workshop and supporting parents in parenting.
